Toyota’s rear-drive 86 coupe is back for a second instalment. Well, almost. Ahead of the 2022 Toyota GR 86 touching down late this year, Toyota Australia has offered a brief sample of a pre-production 86 on circuit.
What’s clear from this first taste test is the second-gen model reaches a new dynamic and performance ceiling. But there’s still plenty left to explore.
