The 2024 Subaru BRZ Premium still gets the fundamentals right. Lightweight, manual, rear-wheel drive, practical enough to live with every day. After 11 years with this platform, I moved on and replaced it with a Miata. Now a year with my Miata, I understand both sides. The BRZ is more comfortable and more usable. The Miata is sharper where it counts. Which one makes sense depends on what you’re willing to overlook.
